texting vs. voice calls???

in todays world, 31% of american adults between the ages of 18 and 24 prefer to text than to call and talk to somebody. the young adults (again between ages 18 and 24) exchange about an average of 110 texts a day and about 3200 a month. whereas it is doubled more than the average of adults from the ages 25-34 and over 23 times the figure of people 65 and older!
55% people who exchange about 51 texts a day report peferring to call the person and see whats up with them instead of using there fingers for an hour when they can talk over the phone for 5 minutes. but on the otherhand, texting is more brief especially if you're pressed for time and you need the date of a party. texting also helps the aid of if you're somewhere noisy and u cant talk to someone you can jsut text. a plus aboout texting is that when you get a text you can finish your task before responding (such as parking your car) and you can also think about what you wanna say before your good coversation can go bad
