12 week reflection

Over the 12 weeks of this class I have learned many things in this class.
I have learned about the safety precautions I should take while on the internet, how to correctly search the web and many other things like copyright and the laws to it.
Technology is important to us because it is an easier way to research and to communicate and to do other tasks.
Technology has changed very much in the past 5 years... new games, systems, software...ECT. In the next 5 years I believe that the technology today will be "old fashioned" like what we think of the technology we had growing up.

The technology I use for school and for school work is the computer and all its resources and that about it. For my personal use, I use the computer, my cellular device and my Xbox 360.

In the future I will use the tools I learned how to use in future schooling and maybe for work. The tool for the most practical way of learning I would think would be the RSS feeds because any new information about a subject you're into will be sent to your reader account and it's an easy access to the website.
Delicious is one tool I don’t think I will ever use again. It is helpful for school but I only have one more year of school until I graduate. And I don't use this tool outside of school at all.

My favorite tools to create were the blog and igoogle. They’re my favorite because I can change anything I want and personalize it to anything I desire
My least favorite to create was delicious because it was boring and we hardly used it

copy right case

John Fogerty, a band member of Creedence Clearwater Revival, had signed himself out of the band and all the royalties of the stable of songs by CCR. John wrote and sung his song “Zanz can’t dance” well, Saul Zaentz, his old partner claims that song is a replica of the CCR’s song “run through the jungle”. John was being accused of plagiarizing himself. To solve this case, john played both songs in court to the judge and the jury. The case was dismissed and john ended up suing the record company for court cost. He ended up changing the song title to “Zanz to Vanz”

net smart post

1. She tells us her gender and her hobbies brother's name and where she goes in cyberspace and her phone number.

2. I honestly have put personal information on the internet

3. Common sense is the most important thign to using the internet

think before you post!

Before you decide to send a picture of yourself to either the internet or to a friend think of where it will end up if something goes awry between you and who you sent it to.. dont let others decide where your picture ends up. By doing this it could go to your little siblings and maybe your parents. if you only want one person to see it show them yourself. don't send it to them because it could end up to be a bad choice

texting vs. voice calls???

in todays world, 31% of american adults between the ages of 18 and 24 prefer to text than to call and talk to somebody. the young adults (again between ages 18 and 24) exchange about an average of 110 texts a day and about 3200 a month. whereas it is doubled more than the average of adults from the ages 25-34 and over 23 times the figure of people 65 and older!
55% people who exchange about 51 texts a day report peferring to call the person and see whats up with them instead of using there fingers for an hour when they can talk over the phone for 5 minutes. but on the otherhand, texting is more brief especially if you're pressed for time and you need the date of a party. texting also helps the aid of if you're somewhere noisy and u cant talk to someone you can jsut text. a plus aboout texting is that when you get a text you can finish your task before responding (such as parking your car) and you can also think about what you wanna say before your good coversation can go bad

delicious blog

delicious is a bookmarking website to store all of your favorite websites and all other websites you may wanna keep on there instead of the back of your mind

i believe this website is very useful to me. i have many important websites that instead of writing down i just use delicious.

i'll be using it mostly in school to save websites that i may need for projects and other sources. in my personal life on the other hand, i probably will not use it because i wont ever need to store any websites
